1.29.18 – The Alliance of Automotive Service Providers of New Jersey (AASP/NJ) and the Washington Metropolitan Auto Body Association (WMABA) are thrilled to announce the full list of classes for the exciting debut of Collision P.R.E.P. – Professional Repairer Education Program. This NORTHEAST-exclusive program boasts 17 classes hosted by some of the biggest names in the industry that no automotive repair professional can afford to miss.
Collision P.R.E.P. is headlined by Todd Tracy, the winning attorney in the recent John Eagle Collision case, who will present “Anatomy of a Lawsuit – Crash Testing for Evidence” on Saturday afternoon. His fiery personality is guaranteed to instantly hook all in attendance. There will be additional details to his post-win crash testing and insights into liability that repairers can avoid in their daily operations. In addition to Tracy’s presentation, there are multiple sessions that include use of documentation and understanding repair processes better that lend toward mitigating responsibility and negotiating with insurance personnel.
Industry favorite Mike Anderson (Collision Advice) will once again be returning to the show, and attendees will have two chances to catch “Write it Right, with Life Nuggets to Live By” (on Friday and Saturday).
Collision P.R.E.P. will also be hosting two unique panel discussions. The first is an OEM Repair Panel: “Becoming a Certified Repairer and Understanding the OEM Repair Procedures” on Saturday morning. Panelists include: Dave Gruskos (Reliable Automotive Equipment), Aaron Clark (Assured Performance Network), Larry Montanez (P&L Consultants), Barry Dorn (Dorn Body & Paint), Bill Hawkins (BMW of Annapolis) and Mark Allen (Audi USA), and will be moderated by Gary Wano, Jr. (GW & Son Auto Body).
On Saturday afternoon, the second panel: “Diagnostics, Calibrations and Programming: Understanding Shop Liability in this New Era and How to CYA!” will feature: Chuck Olsen (AirPro Diagnostics), Aaron Clark (Assured Performance Network), Paul Sgro (Lee’s Garage), Larry Montanez (P&L Consultants) and Greg Potter (Equipment and Tool Institute). Both sessions, along with all other classes, will provide attendees with the incomparable perspective and experience that can only come from the multiple industry experts and leading repairers on these panels.
With multiple types of education tracks to enrich a repairer’s knowledge, the expertise from the national-level speakers will give insight and information only available at NORTHEAST.
