Digital Marketing, Waterbourne, OEM Procedures & Standards Highlight NORTHEAST™ 2012 Seminars

The Alliance of Automotive Service Providers of New Jersey (AASP/NJ) has announced the educational seminar slate for their 35th annual NORTHEAST™ 2012 Automotive Services Show, with informative presentations and demos that touch upon almost every topic trending daily in the industry. NORTHEAST™ 2012, the Northeast’s largest automotive repair show, takes place March 9, 10 and 11 at the Meadowlands Exposition Center of Secaucus, NJ.

The weekend starts off with the SCRS/AASP/NJ East Coast Resolution Forum & Leadership Conference, which welcomes representatives from national and local automotive repair associations on Friday afternoon at 1pm. At 6pm, Mark Olson of VeriFacts gets the NORTHEAST™ seminars started with Shop Differentiation: How to Make Your Shop Stand Out, followed by Future Cure’s Tom Beck presenting Drying Waterborne: What You Need to Know NOW. One of the industry’s most popular speakers, Larry Montanez III of P&L Consultants / IACDA will also be on hand Friday evening, discussing OEM Repair Procedures vs. Repair Standards in the first of a two-part series. Kristen Felder and Elizabeth Blackman of CollisionHub will close out Friday’s seminars with SOS: A Social Media Intervention.

The seminars resume bright and early Saturday, March 10 at 8:30am with I-CAR presenting their popular “Vehicle Technology and Trends 2011 (NEW11) course. As the day continues, industry topics including new paint technologies (Painting With Blended Nitrogen), customer service (The Customer Encounter: How the Front End Can Make or Break Your Business), hybrid repairs (Hybrid Aftermarket Service) and out-of-the-box marketing practices (How to Capture More Cars, Customers & Revenue Through Digital Marketing) will be discussed. A variety of demos will be presented throughout the weekend as well. Demos scheduled at press time include “Stop Guessing…Start Knowing” presented by Tom McGee of ALLDATA and a special triage presentation by Larry Montanez.
