Next to Last Cars and Coffee New Jersey of 2012
The year’s next-to-last Cars and Coffee New Jersey event will be taking place this Sunday, September 30 at Knob Hill Country Lanes in Manalapan. The immensely popular gathering has become a “must attend” after only a few short months of existence.
Alliance of Automotive Service Providers of New Jersey (AASP/NJ) Treasurer and former President Tom Elder, one of the founders of the event’s NJ chapter, continues to be impressed with the reception the concept has received over the first four events.
“We couldn’t be happier with the way things have turned out,” Elder says. “It’s really become sort of a tradition in a very short period of time. Everyone who has participated, whether as a vehicle owner or a visitor, has had an incredible time. It’s been a pleasure seeing it all come together.”
Cars and Coffee is a Sunday morning car show designed with the busy family life in mind. Its intent is to bring people together who enjoy the car hobby without taking a whole day or weekend. Anyone with an antique, special interest, exotic, hot rod, custom, retro rod or any other nice car of any year is encouraged to attend.
After Sunday, the last Cars and Coffee New Jersey event for the year will take place on October 21. Elder promises something special in the works for the year’s final date in October. “We have some nice things in place for that event,” he says. “We will be releasing details shortly. In the meantime, I invite everyone to come out with their cars, family and friends to see what we’re all about this Sunday morning.”
The events run 7:30am – 11am with plenty of coffee and snacks for attendees. For more information, including an event schedule, please visit www.carsandcoffeenj.com.
