8.23.21 – The wait is almost over!
The Alliance of Automotive Service Providers of New Jersey is excited for the return of a live and in-person NORTHEAST® Automotive Services Show at the Meadowlands Exposition Center in Secaucus, NJ September 10-12.
After more than a year of nothing but virtual events, AASP/NJ’s flagship trade show will serve as a much-anticipated reunion of sorts, as this will be the first regional automotive industry event of its kind to be held in a face-to-face format since the pandemic began.
AASP/NJ Executive Director Charles Bryant encourages everyone in the automotive industry to take the time to attend.
“If there ever was an event that you can’t afford to miss, it’s the 2021 NORTHEAST. After missing the show in 2020, this year will make up for it by being twice as good. There will be something there for everyone – training, special guest speakers, introduction of exciting new equipment and on and on. Find out about the latest changes in the automotive industry and learn about what will be required to make those repairs and so much more.”
“We’re back in full force,” AASP/NJ Treasurer Tom Elder states. “Of course, safety is our main concern, and we are doing everything the state recommends to ensure that. But we need to continue with our industry to make it strong again. We can’t do that without getting together and exchanging ideas.”
Exhibitors from all over the country are heading to NORTHEAST to showcase their products to an audience eager to get back to seeing the latest equipment up close for the first time since 2019. Additionally, the event will once again feature the Washington Metropolitan Auto Body Association’s (WMABA) Collision Professional Repair Education Program (Collision P.R.E.P.), which will take place live throughout the weekend. Presenters include familiar industry veteran speakers, such as Mike Anderson (Collision Advice), John Shoemaker (BASF) and Lee Rush (Sherwin-Williams). The event schedule also includes panels on the “Wide World of ADAS” and “Demystifying the Appraisal Clause.”
“Finally, we will be able to see industry colleagues face to face after this long lockdown period,” Bryant adds. “Simply put, with the major changes currently taking place in the automotive industry, this will be a show that will be talked about for years to come. Can’t wait to see everyone there!”
AASP/NJ thanks these generous sponsors for their support of NORTHEAST 2021: Platinum Sponsor: BASF; Gold Sponsor: Ford; Silver Sponsors: PPG, NJ Parts of Flemington; Lanyard Sponsors: Innovative Solutions and Technology, Spanesi; Attendee Prize Sponsor: Axalta Coating Systems; and General Sponsors: Harbortouch and Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes.
