brp-logoThe Meadowlands Exposition Center (MEC), home to NORTHEAST™2014, has announced that Big Red Pin, a company specializing in software development and technology innovation, has revamped the network infrastructure at the MEC and renovated the venue into an advanced technological center of activity. The new infrastructure will deliver increased Internet access, automated Wi-Fi registrations, and an advertising platform for events. The new technology will be in place for the Alliance of Automotive Service Providers of New Jersey (AASP/NJ)’s 37th annual NORTHEAST™ 2014 Automotive Services Show, March 21, 22 and 23, 2014 at the MEC in Secaucus, NJ.

“This is something we have been waiting for,” AASP/NJ President Jeff McDowell says. “Internet and Wi-Fi access is a crucial part of our exhibitor’s success and we are always looking for ways to improve the service. These steps taken by the MEC will provide a much-needed boost to our exhibitors. We look forward to seeing it in action.”

The entire MEC network infrastructure was reconstructed from the ground up to ensure network security as well as increased performance. Exhibitors and attendees will have direct Internet access that is high-performance, reliable, and robust. This new collaborative effort between Big Red Pin and the Meadowlands Exposition Center will allow for all visitors of the venue to have a fully streamlined technology experience.
